Richard Quiñones (Journeymen Boxing) – Super middleweight and New Jersey native Derrick “Take it to the Bank” Webster earned a relatively easy six-round unanimous decision win over Linwood Dozier in the main event at the Grundy Arena in Bristol, PA Saturday.

Webster (20-1, 10ko’s), who hails from Glassboro, NJ, came out firing and scored with ease as he dominated Dozier (9-11-2, 4ko’s) in the first round. In the second round, he mixed in gorgeous body shots using his reach and then in a quiet third, kept Dozier at bay with his jab.

In the fourth round, Webster’s jab found a home, as he landed vicious blows with power left hands. Moments later, Wesbter stunned his opponent and knocked him back with a solid straight left shot, but couldn’t finish him off.

He continued to dominate in the fifth and sixth round, but Dozier proved to be tough and would not go down.

The judges saw it 60-54 as did JMB.

Dozier has dropped six of seven and nine of 13 overall.
