Taborda (8-2) is the 12th-ranked flyweight in the world and is a riding a four-fight winning streak into the contest. She is fresh off a 10-round split decision win over Maria Magdalena Rivera for the then vacant WBC Latino female flyweight title back in November.
The 30-year-old is ranked No. 3 in her native Argentina.
As for Bermudez, she is looking to regain her belt after dropping an unanimous decision against Yesica Yolanda Bopp last April.
