Stevenson to represent USA; talented boxer on the way to Rio

Richard Quiñones (Journeymen Boxing) – Shakur Stevenson won all four of his in the trials and will now be representing the U.S. in the 2016 Olympic Games during the summer in Brazil. The talented and well-rounded 18-year-old boxer from New Jersey, put on a clinic as he was nearly flawless throughout the tournament. He defeated Mikhail Montgomery, Ruben Villa, Efren Lopez, and Ruben Villa and is now poised to be the country’s most legit threat to bring him Gold.
It is unlikely that Stevenson will compete in the New Jersey Golden Gloves tournament, but one wanders if he will make any visits to the tourney he dominated in 2015.
