NJ squad goes winless Tuesday at National Golden Gloves Tourney, looks to rebound

Richard Quiñones (Journeymen Boxing) It was a rough Tuesday night for team New Jersey at the National Golden Gloves tourney in Las Vegas, as the gang from the Garden State went winless for the evening. However, team NJ will have four more boxers in action Wednesday night, hoping to break through.

The squad is ready and excited to put Tuesday night’s disappointment behind them. They have a strong group to lead them to wins as 114lb Kenyon Sessoms , 132 lb Victor Padilla, 152 lb Saleem Kelly, and 178 Valdimir Dalton will all be in action.

Team captain Leroy Davila and 201+ Donald Turner both received byes and will join the the rest of the squad on Wednesday’s card.
