DC Amateur boxer White inks deal with Haymon

Richard Quiñones (Journeymen Boxing) Jordan “Shortdog” White, an amateur standout has signed a professional promotional contract with manager Al Haymon.

According to BATB, White, who has not yet made his pro debut, inked the deal on sometime late last week. He has a stellar amateur record of 145-15 and has garnered numerous local, national and international titles.

White was also competing for Gold back in 2013 at the Victory Day Tournament in Uman, Ukraine, as part of the U.S. five-man team, which featured elite 15 and 16-year-old boxers.

He trains out of the Pound For Pound gym in Waldorf, MD, and will be trained by his father John White, who is also his co-manager.
