BY: Richard Quiñones (Journeymen Boxing) Karen Elizabeth “Burbuja” Carabajal earned a four-round unanimous decision over Noelia Gutierrez Sunday night at the Centro Deportivo y Cultural Villa Raffo, Villa Raffo, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The 25-year-old Carabajal (8-0) turned pro in 2013 and has been very active over the last several years. She fought five times in 2014 and it appears she will fight at least seven or so times this year.
Gutierrez (3-2, 1ko) saw her two-fight winning streak snapped.
In other action, Maria Magdalena Rivera and Debora Anahi Dionicius were each both victories, in their respected bouts in Argentina.
Rivera (5-2-3, 1ko) snapped a two-fight slide by winning a six-round unanimous decision over Guadalupe Maria Antonia Maldonado, while Dionicius (19-0, 5ko’s) continued her winning ways by easily handling Florencia Canteros over six-rounds, winning the unanimous decision. Canteros fell to 6-8-1 in the loss.
Both bouts took place at the Ce De M N2, Caseros, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
