Atlantic City’s Dallas Holden ready for pro debut against Asmat “May the best man win”

Richard Quiñones (Journeymen Boxing) Amateur standout and Atlantic City native Dallas Holden is set to make his pro debut when he takes on North Jersey’s Kevin Asmat in a four-round bantamweight affair Friday July 22nd, at the Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.

The two debuting boxers will be on the undercard of the Anthony “Juice” Young/Ariel Vasquez slated 8-round welterweight affair, while Millville’s Thomas “Cornflake” LaManna takes on Engleberto Venezuela in a six-round welterweight co-feature.

The 20-year-old Holden, trains out of the Atlantic City Pal and had a very solid amateur career, winning several titles, including the Philadelphia Golden Gloves in 2014.

“I’m excited and nervous at the same time,” he said to JMB during Thursday’s open media workout at Brighton Park in Atlantic City.

“Kevin is a good boxer and may the best man win,” he added.
